What is a Credit Union?

A Credit Union is a NON-PROFIT Financial Institution where each person who has an account is a “member”. All members own shares of the Credit Union. Members also have voting rights and help elect the Board of Directors. An Annual Shareholders Meeting is held each year, open to all members. Members accept for nomination and vote on Board members, review Official Records, and learn about services and future plans for the Credit Union!
