WCFCU Become A MemberDownload
Our Informational Brochure What is a Credit Union? A Credit Union is a NON-PROFIT Financial Institution where each person who has an account is a “member”. All members own shares of the Credit Union. Members also have voting rights and help elect the Board of Directors. An Annual Shareholders Meeting is held each year, open to all members. Members accept for nomination and vote on Board members, review Official Records, and learn about services and future plans for the Credit Union! Spread
the word! We can now open an account for anyone that lives, worships,
works, or regularly conducts business in Wayne County. Contact us about
eligiblility for membership at Wayne County Federal Credit Union.
In
order to join WCFCU, you must come to our office during regular business
hours. Accounts cannot be
opened at the Drive-Thru or on Saturdays.
You must bring a recent paystub and social security card to
verify employment and a valid picture I.D. or drivers license and Social
Security Card. We
require $5.00 to open a regular savings (share) account and $25.00
to open a checking (share draft) account.
